“Every American who values liberty should support the homeschoolers’ cause. If the government can usurp parental authority over something as fundamental as the education of their children, there is almost no area of parenthood off limits to government interference.” – Ron Paul

If you are concerned about the track that our country is moving in, you might be interested in Ron Paul’s new homeschool curriculum. It has been true through the ages that when governments want to control their people they start with the education system. It’s easy to see that our nation’s children are not learning the right values in our government schools. It is up to us as homeschoolers to provide the leadership of the future that understands the values that our nation was founded upon.

The Ron Paul Curriculum is free for grades K-5 with grades 6-12 being reasonably priced at $250. Grades 6-12 are self taught as this is one of the principles laid out for success, learning on your own helps succeed in college and in life. Grades K-5 are taught by the Fish family who have homeschooled 10 children. The oldest, Bradley Fish Jr. is twenty years old and graduated from college at 18 at a cost of $13,000.

The curriculum is a rigorous curriculum that develops and depends on self discipline. There are classes in economics as well government. The curriculum not only covers the basics of education but also teaches the basics of freedom and liberty and how we can save them.

The last two grades, 11 and 12 are not yet completed but will be by 2015.

The Ron Paul curriculum in the upper grades is similar to The Robinson Curriculum which was developed by a physicist who homeschooled 6 children using the self taught method. Five of his children have PHD’s and the last is still in college. This is testimony to the fact that the self taught method does indeed work.
