Homeschooling in New Mexico
Homeschool Legal Advantage (HLA)
HLA is an outreach of the Christian Law Association. The CLA has faithfully served churches and families since 1969, and has successfully defended over 8,000 educational freedom related cases. Today, the Homeschool Legal Advantage team includes a large group of full-time attorneys and an additional 200+ affiliated attorneys throughout the United States. HLA stands ready to educate and empower Homeschoolers so that they can respond kindly and confidently to local officials when homeschooling questions arise. And, when direct attorney involvement or even official legal representation is required to defend your right to homeschool, as a member of Homeschool Legal Advantage, you can rest assured that assistance from one of our experienced attorneys is only a phone call away! contribution. Our

months we meet at the gym at the Los Vecinos Community
Center in Tijeras. We have planned field

County Home School Association - We are a group of
parents and children who have come together for support
and fellowship. The purpose of our association is to provide
support, encouragement, and social situations which we
would be unable to provide as individuals such as field
day events, special field trips, etc. We strongly believe
that a child's parents are his best educators. To that
end, we strive to help homeschoolers in our area continue
to educate their children at home. We provide two, 8 week,
co-op sessions per year for children of all ages in our
association. Dues are $10 per family per semester. We offer
two class sessions per week of about 1 1/2 hours each.
Topics of classes include weaving, outdoor safety, law
enforcement,
book making, science, health, cooking, and more. Members
of the association are not required to participate in
co-op but it is strongly recommended.
- Rio Grande Homeschoolers - Our desire is to provide our children with the most beneficial educational experiences possible. As such, our co-op is intended as a place where all homeschool families are welcome and encouraged to participate in the way they best see fit. Our group currently serves the greater Albuquerque area including but not limited, Rio Rancho Albuquerque, all quadrants East Mountains Bernalillo. As our group grows we will happily expand to any area of the metro which shows need.
