Homeschool Association (HAHSA) -
HAHSA is a support group that encourages local homeschooling families to meet
each other and capitalize upon the synergy of the growing homeschooling opportunities
in the Harford/Cecil county area. HAHSA also publishes a free monthly e-newsletter
which includes information about activities, events and classes of interest
to homeschoolers in the local area as well as the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan,
DelMarVa and Philadelphia regions.

We are Howard County 's first and oldest inclusive homeschool support group. Our
purpose is to enable homeschooling families to find each other for support,
information, cooperative learning experiences, homeschooling advocacy and friendship. We
are a diverse group; we strive to respect, support and learn from the choices
made by each homeschooling family.

We are a group of Catholic homeschooling families dedicated
to academic and spiritual development in our children. Our
group offers a k-8 co-op class which meets once a week in
Hyattsville, MD. There are various field trips, religious
activities, and social events

Enrichments for the LaPlata Area Community - (Shelac) -
We are an inclusive, secular homeschool support group that
strives to enrich the lives and educations of our children.
We are a close knit community of homeschoolers with children
ranging in age from 1 to 17. In Shelac, we work together
to provide activities for our kids to play and learn together.
We are a cooperative group, so everyone shares ideas, plans
activities, and pitches in to make our events a success.
Our meetings are primarily located in LaPlata, Maryland.
Some events are held in surrounding areas. Field trips
are throughout the Washington DC and Baltimore Metro areas.
- Southern
Maryland Homeschool Network (SMHN) - We are network of
homeschool groups and individual homeschool families that
encourage and support each other's needs and choices through
networking, sharing resources, and group activities. We have
an extensive web page and e-mail list. We serve the 5 counties
in the southern Maryland region (Prince George's, Anne Arundel,
Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's counties).
