BYU Independent Study’s distance education
program is fully accredited and is very affordable,
with the highest quality curriculum. Since 1921,
BYU Independent Study has helped a variety of
students, ranging from remedial to accelerated,
who want to make up credit, resolve scheduling
conflicts, graduate early, earn university credit,
or enhance their curriculum.
BYU Independent Study makes quality educational experiences
available to all who can benefit from individualized learning
by providing over 600 fully accredited high school and university
courses from 7th grade to the university level.

- Citizens' High School Is a nationally accredited,
independent study high school completion program for
grades 9-12. Citizens' curriculum is designed
to give each student a solid foundation in general
or advanced academic programs of study in the basic
areas of English, math, science and social studies.
A wide variety of electives in vocational and business
courses are also available
