The resource center is set up by category such as software
etc. There are sub categories as well. The entrance
is on Homeschool Centrals main page and is set up so that
the visitor will view the categories which will in turn lead
to another page with the listings and descriptions of the
sites.
This is also true with the sub categories.
You will choose your own category for the placement of your
site (within reason). If you choose educational
software for example, your listing may be a subcategory such
as being under software. Sub categories will receive just
as much prominence as main categories. We will be using
sub categories just to make the listings easier for visitors
to find what they are looking for.
Yes you can. There is the initial charge for each company
of $25 for six months. This is for one category.
Additional category listings will cost $15 each.
You can have these separate listings linked to different URLs. You can also submit different text for each listing.
Yes, there is a 10% discount for signing up for a year..
You may choose to have a full size banner (468x60 or less)
or half size banner (234x60 or less) accompany your
listing. These banner listings will be listed first in the
category chosen.
The cost of adding a large banner is an additional $25 for
six months. This cost is $25 no matter whether you have
one or twelve categories you are listed in. The cost of a half
size banner is an additional $15
Every company spends money on advertising and tries to get
as much exposure as they can. We currently have the
most reasonable cost listing for a homeschool mall on the
net. Selling one or two products in a six month period will
probably cover the cost of your listing. You are also
benefiting from the traffic that is coming to Homeschool
Central, currently over 30,000 visitors a month. We
want to put together a well categorized site that will be
beneficial both to the businesses as well as homeschool families. You
will also be receiving our homeschool marketing and design
newsletter.
We will need your URL, the category you desire, a short description
of your site, a banner if you choose that option, and payment.
We take Visa, Master Card, American Express, as
well as checks. We will take PayPal payments on request. Go

You provide your own banners of standard size and send
them to us or send the address they are located at. If
you need to have a banner made, we can create them for $25 for a non-animated banner and $50 for an animated flash banner.
Banner ads are listed first in each category before text listings.
The banner listings and the text listings are posted from the
oldest on top to the newest at the bottom. The reason we have
chosen this way of listing is to reward those companies who
have advertised with us the longest.
